Another Engagement!!

Well everybody, I have another friend who is engaged!! Congrats Candice and Brent!! I can't believe that everyone is getting married now. I love it!! Candice and Brent are so cute together and I can't wait for them to get married!!

First Christmas

This year Me and Cody spend our first Christmas together being married. Its been alot of fun and I'm so happy that I get to spend many more with him. We had alot of family parties and we even went sledding on Christmas eve which was a gas. (That's what my dad called it anyway). Cody got me a new camera and I got him a shirt and a few ties. I'm lame I know. His present to me was alot cooler than what I got him.

Lunch Lady Drama...

So for those of you who don't know, I'm a lunch lady at Fremont High School and love it :) my job is full of surprises and drama constantly. Yesterday at work we made breadsticks for the kids, but we only had enough for each of them to have one. So one of the ladies typed up a paper that said . .. "please only one breadstick so everyone can have one. Thank you." well some boys came through the line and took 3 breadsticks and put them on their trays. so one of the lunch ladies (I won't say who) freaked out and told them they could only have one and got mad at them pretty bad. Anyways, today we were serving lunch and i was in the dish room mindin my own business when my boss called everyone together for a meeting. apparantly one of the kids taped up a sign by our rolls that said. . "only one roll or you will be bent over and VIOLATED." ha ha my first reaction was to laugh because I thought it was so funny! nobody else did though. everyone was pretty upset because we could get in a lot of trouble from parents and stuff if they believed we put the sign up. I thought it was hilarious!!! guess I was the only one.

New Camera!!!

So I haven't been able to blog because my old digital camera broke but guess what?? . . . I got a new camera!! its an early christmas present from Cody! I love it already.

Eventful Week....

So finally I have something to post thats worthwhile. . . Two of my friends got engaged this week!! one on thursday and one on friday!! I am so so so excited for them and just wanted to say congrats!! Now I will have some married people to hang out with :) (sorry the picture is hard to see, but its both of their rings) oh and ps. . . its Sarah Petersen and Hadlee Schoonmaker. Soon to be Sarah Sturdevant and Hadlee Rose.

Addicted!!!

Yes I am addicted to Lost!! Me and Cody can't get enough of it. We watch it for hours and hours and hours. literally. . . don't judge us. Lost is the topic of our conversations, its what we dream about at night, and what we think about all day long. isn't that depressing??? . . . I don't mind though. it's addicting!

Just so you know. .. .

Today I was chased by a weener dog in a sweater while I was riding my bike. I've never peddled so hard in my life!

Awkward. . . .

Just to let everyone know, my mouse problem is not quite under control yet. The mice have out smarted us and just eat the cheese and peanut butter off of the trap and scamper away. Ew. Well we have some new home teachers and they decided to stop by and introduce themselves and teach a lesson and blah blah blah. Me and Cody sat on the couch facing the kitchen and our home teachers sat on the other couch. This one guy started to teach our lesson on a talk giving by President "Ducfdorf" aka Uchtdorf. Thats how the guy pronounced his name. ha ha oh man, I had to hold back a laugh on that one. anyways. . . while hes teaching the lesson I look up and there is a mouse on my kitchen counter. ON MY KITCHEN COUNTER!. . it kept running back and forth, back and forth all over the stove and sink and everywhere! I was praying that our home teachers wouldn't turn their heads and see it. how embarrassing would that be! It didnt' take long before I noticed that cody noticed it because he started to smile and kept looking up at our kitchen. The stupid mouse was there for a good 10 minutes before it left. by that time I was trying not to laugh because I felt so uncomfortable and awkward. Im pretty sure one of the home teachers noticed it. oh well I guess. After they left I cleaned and sprayed everything down and cody set out more mouse traps. It was a very awkward situation!

Infested!!!!!

Some Friends of mine have decided to move in with me and Cody this past week. I noticed them arriving when I heard them Sqeaking in my kitchen. I have freaking mice in my house!! Ew! I have seen two of them today. I watched one run across my floor and go under my couch. Then I saw one run across my kitchen counter. I would highly recommend not eating anything in my house. I'm so grossed out!!

Six Months!!!

Yesterday was mine and codys 6 month anniversary! wow time sure does fly by fast! I can't believe that I have known him for almost two years now. I love being married and I have learned so much from him and he has helped me grow in so many ways! getting married to cody has been the best experience i've ever had. I love him so much!

So a long time ago my sister got these really pretty red couches, and ever since then i've wanted them. Last week she was having a garage sale and guess what she was selling?.... The red couches! I snagged them as soon as I could! so now my living room is new and improved!

Camping!

Me and Cody FINALLY got to go camping this weekend. My camera is broken so I don't have any pictures, so you can just use your imagination I guess. We went somewhere up north like 2 hours away. It's where he goes deer hunting every year. It was alot of fun! we went four wheeling and made homo - I mean hobo dinners. We also saw a couple deer and I saw a bunny. It was very eventful :) Here are a couple things I learned about camping.. .

1. My type of camping is in the mountains at a campground with a out house, or some sort of bathroom device. Cody's type of camping is in the great outdoors with no bathroom for miles. Trying to pee standing up is quite a challenge. I somehow ended up half naked just trying to go to the bathroom. It was the only time in my life I wished I were a boy.

2. I've never been camping in the middle of nowhere before. There wasn't a person for miles I swear! The whole night I slept with one eye open fearing for my life. The image of a creepy insane person coming into my tent kept coming to mind. luckily Cody had a gun and made me carry one on my back when we went four wheeling.

3. Guns are heavy.



4. Nobody told me it was colder in the mountains then it is back home. I guess that's common sense, but i'm a blonde. no literally, I have blonde hair :) I only packed a light sweater and thin pants. I almost froze to death.

5. last but not least, I learned I actually can cook on a fire. Dinner was delicious.

Lunch Lady Land!

Yes. . . I am now a lunch lady at Fremont High School! kill me. could my life get any more depressing?! :) The job doesn't sound too bad actually and who knows, maybe i'll end up loving it and working there for the rest of my life. . . forever and ever! I can pretty much walk to work since Fremont is in my back yard so i'll save some money on gas. and who doesn't love gool ol' Fremont??? I can't wait to wear my hair net and make some good old fashioned sloppy joes. Lunch lady land here I come!

FINALLY!

So finally after two months i'm starting to get interviews! in the last couple days i've had calls for four of them! Kinda weird that everyone called at the same time.

Desperate.....

Home Sweet Home!

I decided to give you guys a little sneak preview of my house. Well some of my house anyways. The bedroom is off limits. It is actually a pretty good size for cute little married people :) The deer antlers and indian couches are not my idea of decoration, but the couches were free and the deer antlers make you feel like your in the great outdoors!

Broken Camera. . .

So I haven't updated my blog because my camera broke! stupid right? it's possible that all the batteries I put in it are dead and thats why it won't work, but I don't think thats the case. When I get some money I will buy a new camera so I can keep blogging. Don't give up on me now!

So I finally got photoshop on my computer! i've been wanting it for a long time and a friend came and installed it for free. Shhhh . . . don't tell anyone! anyways i've been messing around and wanted to post a couple pics that I did. Summer!

So this week has been my first week without a job. It's nice to just enjoy the summer for now, but the whole not having a job thing is kinda stressful! I've been trying to keep busy with things, but I still get bored sometimes. I've made it a goal to get up early everyday and also to try and eat healthier. so far so good!

Cody came home the other day and suprised me with some sunflowers! (my favorite flower I might add). He's so sweet and thoughtful!

Three Months!

Me and Cody have already been married for 3 months! can you believe that?! Time sure has gone by so fast and I am so happy that I get to be with him forever and ever! I love him so much and I couldn't ask for a better husband! oh and ps. . . I'M PREGNANT!!!. . . . just kidding.

I'm debating on growing my hair out but i'm not sure if i want to or not. I just want something different i guess. what do you guys think?

Tomorrow is officially Deej's one year mark on his mission! time sure does go by fast! I am so proud of him! one year down . . . of year to go. . . .

Gone Fishin!

Today Me, my dad, and my mom took my nieces and nephew fishing at the park. We didn't catch anything which was a bummer, but it was still fun. I brought Juno with me and I think Indie said "doggie" about 20 million times! it was cute though. she pulls the best stinker faces! Jonah found a frog and him and Grandpa Peanut (my dad) spent about 30 minutes looking for it. I stayed in the shade the entire time. London didn't even fish but she did collect bbs off the ground. oh and she pulled leaves off the tree and even gave one to me to take home :) how thoughtful! Juno decided to roll around in the mud and eat my potato chips when i wasn't looking. all in all it was a good day!

Disgusting

So my mom decided to follow in my footsteps and start donating plasma! Anyways, she had to get a physical first which took like 2 hours before she actually donated. So they stick her with the needle and guess what happened?! . . . . she got a Hematoma! Her muscle was humungeous! and this is what it looked like the next day. . . . just a warning to everyone out there. . . donating plasma can be deadly ;) wink wink

Goodbye Tate. . .

Yesterday we had to put our family dog down because he had bone cancer :( It was very sad and I bawled my eyes out (when nobody was looking). His name was Tate and he was the best dog ever! He loved to cuddle and he was such a little baby. I will miss him very much. My dad misses him the most and so does Tates mom. He was 9 years old and loved to go hunting with my dad. We miss you Tate! and we love you too!

Nieces & Nephews

I just had to post some pictures of my nieces and nephews since I finally can upload some pictures. I have two Nephews and two Nieces! Their names are: Jonah, London, Indie, and Lincoln! Lincoln belongs to my brother Tyson and the rest of the kids belong to my sister Kenzie. I love them soooo much! they are adorable!

Here we go again. . .

Due to this economic crisis (Ps I hate when people say that), I am stuck donating plasma. . . again. Probably the easiest way to earn money but also its a giant pain! There is nothing like having a giant needle the size of a capri sun straw shoved into your arm! awesome! They always seem to put the needle in wrong and then spend a good ten minutes fiddlin around trying to fix it. It feels great! and no offense to the people who donate there, but they all seem kinda weird. (you guys who donate know exactly what i'm talking about.) Oh well I guess. . . at least i'm saving lives. . . and making a few bucks at the same time.

Meet Juno. . . .

Everyone this is juno! She is the cutest dog ever and I love her so so much! even if she does pee all over the carpet! She is becoming quite a brat and barks at everything and chews on my hair. my flip flops are literally scraps now and the computer chair has officially become her new favorite chew toy!

A New Experience

So last friday Me and Cody went on a double date to this Argentina restaurant! The food was different I will admit, but it was pretty good. I ordered this meal that I won't even try to pronounce because its too complicated :) It had chicken and ham and cheese on it and then some sort of spaghetti sauce on it. It was kinda weird, but good. Oh yeah. . . and guess what else I tried. . . . COW TONGUE! gross huh! it looked like it had veins in it and stuff! it actually was pretty good, but the thought of it being a tongue grossed me out. it definetly was a different food experience for me!

The Wedding!!

Me and Cody got married on March 12th 2009 in the Logan temple! It was the best experience of my life, and it was exactly how I've always pictured it in my mind. Everythng was perfect! (even the weather). Out first date was on February 28th of last year and then we never stopped dating since then. We were set up on a blind date and Cody was told that I was 20 years old. I was actually 18. He was almost 25 at the time and I was thinking he was around 23 or so. I'm sure he was a little freaked out when he found out I was a lot younger than what he thought, but he took me out anyways. I guess my good looks and charm got him hooked :) We have been married for over a month now and couldn't be happier. I love him so much! I couldn't ask for a better husband.
