Region champions

Codys wrestling team took first in Region last night. Thats the first time that Fremonts wrestling team has won region EVER. I am so proud of Cody and happy for his team. They are a bunch of hard working boys who deserved to take first place :)

A Name

Last Sunday Cody had the opportunity to give Ammon a name and a blessing. I'm so glad that I married someone so sweet and someone with the priesthood. I felt so proud when Cody took him up there to be blessed. I'm thankful that both of our families could be there to celebrate with us and to be with Ammon on his special day.

Wrestling

My husband is the head wrestling coach at Fremont and they are doing an amazing job this year! I am so proud of him and his team :) He's brought home alot of trophies and last week they beat Weber high for the first time ever. They are ranked 2nd in state now. I am very proud of him and the hard work he puts into his job.

Life..

Life these last few weeks have been crazy crazy crazy!! I started back to work on January 2nd and to be honest, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I only broke down once :) The first week was stressful because Ammon wouldn't take a bottle and my poor mother in law had to feed him with a dropper. After alot of practice and buying 5 different bottle tops we found one he liked. It just happened to be one of the more expensive kinds! Ammon has expensive taste :) I'm just thankful I get to leave him with someone I trust and I don't have to put him in a daycare. He is starting to sleep in his crib now and goes to bed between 7 and 8. Last night he slept from 7:30 to 2:00 before he woke up again. It was nice!
New things about Ammon...

* He's discoved his fingers. He shoves them into his mouth every chance he gets and already sucks his thumb.
* He loves to talk. Especially when he first wakes up in the morning.
* Smiling!! my little boy loves to smile! He officially started laughing yesterday.
* He hates his car seat. It's definetaly a pain in the butt! I thought all babies loved their car seats but Ammon wants nothing to do with it.
* Ammon loves to look around at everything and anything. He gets so excited when he looks at himself in the mirror.

I weighed myself yesterday and I am now at my prepregnancy weight! Took me long enough!

Christmas 2011

two months...

Time sure does go by fast. Ammon is already two months old and I have no idea where the time has gone! I feel like he is growing up way too fast. He can smile now and holds his head up all by himself. He is starting to like the tub and likes to have the water running. He thinks that is pretty cool. He also really likes to be naked which hopefully he will grow out of :) He sure is getting fat and has a double chin and has little rolls on his thighs. He is starting to sleep better too. I go back to work on January 2nd and I am NOT excited at all. I used to think moms who cried when they went back to work were dumb, but I can see why they do now. Being a mom has changed me into a different person. I don't know what I was doing with my life before I became a mom but I feel like I have found my purpose now. It seriously is the best thing in the world and I wouldn't trade it for anything :)
