Family Halloween Party

Last week we had our family Halloween party with all of the kids. My mom did a great job on making all of the food and goodies. I helped out a little bit too. I wish Cody could've came but he had to work :( Here are some pics on the fun night we had....

So a little while ago I was telling Cody what swaddling meant and how you do it. (wrapping a baby up tight in a blanket). Anyways so this morning Cody went to kiss me goodbye and I told him it was cold. The next thing I know he was grabbing another blanket and tucking it up all around me. I asked him what he was doing and he said.... "honey... i'm coddling you!" ha ha ha ha he is so cute.

Deer Hunting...

For the first time in my entire life I went deer hunting with my hubby. I was excited but at the same time kind of not because I'm not a big fan of animals being killed. I was mainly excited for the whole camping part and spending time with cody. I can't believe how much hiking you do when you go deer hunting. We went up hills and down hills and around hills for what seemed like hours and we didn't see any bucks! We did see a bunch of doe though and we sat and looked at those for awhile. Cody kept pointing doe out to me and I must be blind because I can never see them. He sat and was looking at some with his scope for about 10 minutes before I even found them. I was so tired of walking that on Friday I hung out in the trailer and read while he went hunting by himself. He didn't see anything that time either. Long story short he called his friend and we went on some property of his and guess what...... He got one! For not liking animals being killed I sure did love watching him shoot that deer. I didn't even cry or anything :) Now i'm on this obsessive streak where I want him to shoot something else. I don't know what has come over me ha ha . This is right before I accidentally dropped his gun. oops..... He was really upset about it.

Baby Shower!!

Last saturday my sister in law Arlene had her baby shower!! Codys family is very supportive when it comes to things like this and alot of people came. I mean almost 30 people were there. She got alot of neat things and i'm really excited for her and Karson. Cody and I can't wait to be and aunt and uncle to their little baby girl.

Alaska..

My dream is to go to Alaska on a vacation. I've been there twice when I was younger, but it was so long ago its hard to remember everything. Alot of my family lives in Juneau, Alaska so that's where I want to go. My grandpa lives there and for his 80th birthday my mom and all of her brothers and sisters went there to celebrate it. I don't think i've been that jealous of my mom in my entire life!! Cody says we can go there in the summer if things don't come up!! Here are some pictures of how pretty it is.
